Coronavirus Update – March 14

After consultation with the Executive Committee, we have decided to follow the recommendation of the Virlina District and cancel all church services and events from Saturday, March 14 through Saturday, March 28.
We will attempt to reschedule both “Guess who’s coming to dinner” and the Yard Sale.
There will be an online devotion and prayer time on Sunday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. This will be broadcast on the church Facebook page.
Somewhat in contradiction to this message, the Executive Committee WILL meet tomorrow morning at 11:30 a.m. to touch base on pastoral/congregational care needs related to being closed for this length of time.
In the meantime, we encourage members of the congregation to remain in contact with one another, the pastors, and the church office via phone and email. Facebook updates and the prayer chain will continue to function as normal.
I’m sure you have some questions that I haven’t thought to cover in this update. All of us will endeavor to keep everyone informed about relevant information as we proceed.
