Many people know the British author C.S. Lewis for his series The Chronicles of Narnia. The fifth book of that series, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, describes the quest of King Caspian of Narnia, as he sets sail in search of the seven lost Lords of Telmar. Caspian is joined in his quest by Edmund and Lucy (who have been to Narnia twice before) and their cousin Eustace, who is obnoxious, arrogant, and rude, and who quickly alienates everyone on the quest….

Bible Study will resume this Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. In light of this week’s developments with the Covid-19 virus, all in-person church activities are suspended until further notice. For the foreseeable future, all Virlina District events have been postponed or cancelled. We will make an announcement about Oak Grove’s status later this week. Several persons (Tim Harvey, Carol Elmore, Joe and Sara Blaha, Stephen Wills, Olivia Hawkins) gathered on Wednesday to record various parts of our worship service.
